Halloween costume ideas this year brings horror to life

It’s that time of the year again. Halloween is just around the corner and people are eager to bring art and horror to life.

Many of us are on the lookout for Halloween costume ideas and this year they are scarier than ever.

According to radio station Z90.3 and the Huffington Post, as well as many other sources, there is said to be a third breast Halloween costume.

Jasmine Tridevil convinced social media that she had a third breast implant between her other two breasts. This went viral and spread fast, encouraging Halloween companies to make a costume about it.

Halloween costume website representative, Marlon Heimerl said, “The company knew they had a winner of an outfit when they first saw Tridevil showing off her three-pack.” Marlon told Huffington Post, “We knew this had the potential to blow the lid off gag costumes in 2014.”

If Jasmine Tridevil’s third breast costume  doesn’t fit your ideal idea of a Halloween costume this year, then there are plenty of others to look forward to.

Many animated movies such as Frozen, Despicable Me and The Lego Movie have all created costumes this year. And don’t forget, classic cat woman never goes out of style.

Some other great ideas involve our favorite social media sites. Why not dress as your favorite social media network? Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat and Twitter are just some of the main sites we use in our daily lives.

Couple costumes are also popular. Some fun and simple ones include salt and pepper, ketchup and mustard, peanut butter and jelly, and Jack Daniels and Coke. You could even be a breakfast serving of bacon and eggs. Apart from food costumes, there is also the option to be Batman and Robin or Sandy and Danny from Grease the movie.

Costumes that get people off their feet and terrified usually contain blood, creepy eyes, masks, and weapons like a sword or a chainsaw. Chucky, for instance, is always a scare, so is a skeleton with blood goosing from the eyes or a body part. Porcelain dolls also create a creepy effect on most people due to their perfect skin and big eyes.

Halloween is about being someone you can’t be everyday, having fun and experimenting with new costume ideas. Whether it’s purchasing a costume online or at a Halloween costumes store or creating it, it’s easy to make it fun and enjoyable. These are just some of the Halloween costumes ideas that can be created or purchased this year. Remember, Halloween can be full of surprises and scares, so be prepared and make sure to be safe throughout the scary night.
