The Women's Volleyball team won the Pacific Coast Conference for the fourth year in a row.

On November 20, they were in the playoffs against Cal State Long Beach and won, moving on to play Golden West in Huntington Beach. The Olympians lost to Golden West, but they placed second in the playoffs.

Most Valuable Player of the Pacific Coast Conference was given to Anne Vaughan. She was also awarded with All- Region, All- State, and All- American 2nd team. All- Region refers to the southern part of California and the All-American award is out of the whole country. All the coaches of the colleges decide these awards.

Head coach Kim Lester was also honored with the Coach of the year award.

Pacific Coast Conference selects three players in two groups that are their top players of the conference. For 1st team, Alyssa Factuar, Bobbie Jo Stall and Jessica LaScola were chosen.

"I love coaching at Mesa College, it's the best job in the world," said Lester.
