The Mesa College Theater Company is presenting the emotionally charged "A Question of Mercy" on March 7- 16. It will show at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 7 p.m. on Sunday.

With strong focus on two characters played Ronald W. Johnson Jr. and Jeff Harlow, this play by David Rabe promises to deliver an intense drama writ with conflicts of right versus wrong.

"It deals with the complications of euthanasia. It's extremely complicated," said Johnson, who plays Dr. Robert Chapman. His character reluctantly agrees to help a man with AIDS kill himself.

Underlying themes include homosexuality, watching loved ones decay, and making complicated choices.

For reservations or information, call 619-388-2621. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 for SDCCD students and $8 for general admission.
