Four men were arrested Dec. 2 for the Oct. 4 stabbing death of Mesa College student Luis Santos. They face a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.

The Mesa College forensic speech and debate teams took second place in overall debate sweepstakes and fourth place in overall combined debate and speeches at the 16th annual Griffin/Mann Invitational Speech Tournament.
The Junior Parliamentary teams cleaned house at the tournament on Nov 15 and 16.
