Vote Yes For Paper Towels

Public restrooms have never been synonymous with sterility. The fact that so many people use the same facility all day long is evidence enough of their uncleanliness. When using any public restroom I always become a complete germaphobe. I cannot stand the thought of picking up more filth than what I already came in with. I have a procedure, which I seem to follow whenever I am using stuck in a public germ-hole.

When grabbing tissue I never use the beginning of the roll. I pull it until I can feel the part of the tissue has not been exposed to any germs, flushing the toilet with your foot is a must. The exit is the most crucial. Once you have suds the germs away, not having paper towel can be anyone’s worst nightmare.

Due to lack of paper towels, you now have to open the door with your cleanly washed hands. Some would think, why not just go back into a stall and grab toilet paper? But the result of this is now your freshly cleansed hands are now infested with the germs from the stall door and everything else that you’ve touched. It’s a big hassle and inconvenient for people who are think like I do.

The affects of not having paper towels are bigger than what most people seem to believe. Not only are you picking up germs, but you could potentially pick up an illness that can progress into something more serious. All in all I think that we should have both options between having hand air blowers and paper towels. Some just cannot deal with the fact of having to go through the struggle that comes with not having paper towels.
