Nini Huynh is a staff writer and the sole photo editor of the San Diego Mesa Press. She is in her second year at San Diego Mesa College majoring in journalism. She has recently been accepted to CSU Long Beach and is planning on transferring there this coming Fall 2022 semester to obtain her bachelor's degree. Nini is the daughter of two refugee parents and wishes to further the discourse regarding the Asian-American experience. She plans to push the journalistic threshold and speak on topics that broaden her readers' minds.

She has experience in Photography not only in practice but academically as well - and captures moments with an eye for art. She has been documenting life through a camera lens for over 5 years and takes an especially keen interest in the photojournalistic genre.

Outside of school, she is a full-time hotel employee. Her interests include knitting, dancing, and trying new things. She is known as a free spirit and lives by this in her free time.
