The burning Indio desert sun brought a banter of artists for this years Coachella Music and Art Festival.

From April the 13 to the 15, Coachella was transformed to become the modern equivalent of the world’s biggest fashion and music showcase amongst major social media influencers.

The two-weekend long music festival featured headliners such as The Weeknd, Eminem, and Coachella’s first black female headliner, Beyonce. In an announcement by DJ Khaled during Beyonce’s headline performance on Saturday he renamed the festival “Beychella,” which was enough to get fans buzzing.

The first day of the festival went much like past first days did: a bit of classic rock, some contemporary R&B, and a very enthusiastic 18 member Mexican cumbia band. The unexpected was brought forth at Coachella 2018, and day one was just the beginning.
