Featured Athletes for the month of October

For the month of October Melanie DeSalvo and Elizabeth Diaz have combined for 5 goals and 1 assist. The two returning sophomores were one-two in scoring last year for the Olympians and look to continue it this year. DeSalvo with 31 points (13 goals and 5 assists) is currently a point ahead of Diaz, who has 30 points (14 goals and 2 assists). The lady Olympians are currently ranked 8th in the nation and look to continue their solid play this week as they face Mira Costa College and Miramar College at home on the 17th and 19th.
