Deadpool is “Dead cool”

With MARVEL’s release of their newest super movie, Deadpool, fans everywhere are able to enjoy the brilliant sense of humor and sarcastic appeal of the famous masked mercenary.

Portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool’s character is evenly matched by the witty sense of humor Reynolds brings to the table. Along with Reynolds, T.J. Miller plays the clever sidekick to Deadpool’s alter ego: Wade Wilson; together the duo create a mutually humourous setting for the story.

Aside from the obvious comedy brought out by the main character himself, the entire film is a laugh from start to finish, starting with the opening credits. Throughout the film, Deadpool takes time to continually break the fourth wall and make sure that you are able to follow along with what is happening.

MARVEL also used this film to introduce some other superhero characters from the world renowned franchise, such as Colossus, an iron giant, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, a passive aggressive teenager the dire need to finish her tweet before commencing in battle.

Along with its jokes, the film does have its romantic appeal as well, as Deadpool must save his lover from his “very British” arch-enemy. The concept is rather lovely, from the way he must hide who he has really become in the beginning of the movie, to later being accepted by her for who he is and ending the search for her in a loving way.
