— NO MAGS, NO SALES — KRT ENTERTAINMENT STORY SLUGGED: TV-EMMYS KRT PHOTOGRAPH BY KEVIN SULLIVAN/ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER (L.A. TIMES OUT) (September 19) LOS ANGELES, CA — The cast of “Arrested Development,” winner of Outstanding Comedy Series, backstage at the 56th Annual Emmy Awards, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, September 19, 2004. Gilmore Girls, Full(er) House, The Mindy Project…these are just some of the once cancelled TV shows that have been revived by sources such as Netflix and Hulu.

For a lot of people, these show revivals have been needed for as long as they have been off the airwaves. Some of these shows were so close and dear to people’s hearts that this news could not have arrived any sooner.

There was talk for a bit of a while as to whether or not a few shows would return at all. Since all of this was kept well under raps, it came as a big, lovely surprise and shocked the people who grew up with some of these shows.

Gilmore Girls is the big announcement because not only did people adore the characters of Stars Hollow, but it also gave fans a sense of hope and endearment. Gilmore Girls was full of wit and sarcasm, as well as heart and laughter. This show made you cry and laugh and learn all at the same time.

This show took us through a loving mother-daughter relationship that was one of the cutest and strangest relationships of all. Fans went through breakups, divorces, love conflictions, friendship tests, ex-boyfriends and ex-husband dramas with Lorelai played by Lauren Graham and Rory Gilmore played by Alexis Bledel. Heck, we even learned how to and how NOT to run an Inn.

First thing is first; don’t hire a French man named Michel, whom was played by Yanic Truesdale. Gilmore Girl fans would get this reference.

For those non Gilmore Girls fans, Michel was an employee of Lorelai’s who was very rude, careless and disrespectful.

Although not much has been confirmed in regards to the original cast returning, there are many sources out there that hint to that being a huge possibility. And by sources I mean the actual actors themselves.

Some of them have been taking it to social media like Twitter. For example, Lauren Graham tweeted on Oct. 19, 2015 “DUDES. I can’t confirm this. But I also can’t deny this…”

It’s pretty close to official, it’s happening and there’s nothing and no one that can take this excitement from the long time fans of these timeless shows.

Another big time old classic returning next year is Full House, although it will be having a slightly different name; Fuller House. It will be starring Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner, only of course she will be all grownup. It will be a bit different because it’d have a different gist to it. Fans are excited to watch and see what has remained the same and what has changed.

All of this is very exciting; it gives people something to look forward to. And this couldn’t have come at a better timing because not too long ago, Netflix and Hulu were getting a lot of backlash from people who pay for their services. People complained about lack of shows and variety. This definitely makes of for such accusations that were quite true.

Now paying around $8 a month is well worth it.
