Rinconcito Mexican Food is a brand new restaurant nestled beside San Diego Mesa College, less than a mile from the Mesa College campus. Make the second left when leaving campus on Mesa College Drive onto Ashford Street, and Rinconcito Mexican Food is on the left. Riconcito is a quaint family style restaurant that offers quality food for a reasonable price.

They boast a large variety of Mexican style dishes made to order; from the popular California Burrito for $4.89 to their Nachos Supreme for $5.99 which come topped with sour cream, guacamole, mozzarella cheese, carne asada and beans; all thrown strategically over crunchy homemade tortilla chips. Nachos are offered with your choice of ground beef, carne asada, chicken or shredded beef.

Their bean, cheese and rice burrito is uniquely prepared with white rice and mozzarella cheese matched deliciously with fresh beans wrapped in a deliciously warm tortilla.

Appetizing combo plates are offered all of which include sides of steaming rice and beans along with three warm corn or flour tortillas for around $6.75. Some of these plates include: two delectable enchiladas (chicken or cheese), chile verde (red or green), or the succulent chicken fajitas.
