Canyon Day

Mesa had its first ever Canyon Day on May 3, to promote environmental awareness at Mesa, and in the surrounding community.

A trail guide lead a nature walk through Tecolote Canyon, stopping along the way to point out various native plants to the crowd. President Rita Cepeda is shown left holding a resolution presented by Councilwoman Donna Frye.
