Alysse grew up in Orange County and moved to San Diego County when she began college. In her free time, she loves to surf and spend a lot of time outdoors. She also loves photography, reading, and writing. With that said, she is majoring in journalism with the ultimate goal to write for a surf magazine.

Aaron is the sports editor for the Mesa Press. This is his first time writing for the school paper. He has some experience in journalism (He was involved with the school yearbook in middle school). but he is excited to be covering all the athletic events and scores going on around campus and the city. Aaron is a lifelong Padres fan, as well as a diehard Chargers fan (Despite their departure, he hasn't lost my faith in them), as well as art, museums and photography.

Felipe is a staff writer for The Mesa Press, This is his first year Writing for The Mesa Press.Felipe is a first generation college student, fresh out of high school but more than ready to be on the scene. Felipe plans to attend San Diego Mesa College for the next two years then transferring to the University of California Santa Cruz continuing his education and majoring in journalism. he is focused, motivated and determined to achieve and accomplish his goals. Felipe dreams of one day opening up his own Magazine focusing on lifestyle, music, art in the Chicano culture. When Felipe is not working on the The Mesa Press he enjoys working at his job at Starbucks making coffee, Creating Music with his best friends , going to concerts, traveling and enjoying life.
