WOMEN’S SOCCER

As a result of a Pacific Coast Conference violation, Mesa forfeited their first five games of the season. The Olympians responded finishing conference play with a 14-6-2 record. Mesa’s only conference loss was to first place Grossmont on October 6. Elizabeth Diaz led Mesa with 20 goals on the season. Melanie DeSalvo finished strong with 13 goals. DeSalvo led the state with 20 assists.

MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

The Olympians won the Pacific Coast Conference Championship at Morley Field on October 27. Daniel Gonia took first place running the 4 mile course in 22:07. Dave Edwards took second finishing in 22:15. Chris Capeau placed third 22:34, and Ian Laform took fourth finishing the race in 22:47.

WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

Molly Goodman led Mesa in the PCC Conference Championship finishing the 3.1 mile course in 22:31.

WOMEN’S WATER POLO

The Olympians won their second straight conference title. Goalie Niki Lolis was recently named PCC athlete of the week.

FOOTBALL

Mesa closed out their season finishing 2-8 in the Foothill conference.
Several players were named Second Team All-Conference: QB Kamy Ahmadian, RB Anthony Chai, OL David Norman, Daniel Caldera, WR Ryan Sevier, K Roberto Arca, DB Tito Jose, and DL Scott Fader.

MEN’S SOCCER

Mesa finished the season at 5-13-4.
