This is my first semester writing for the Mesa Press, and I am excited to be here! I began working on my Journalism degree in Las Vegas, Nevada at College of Southern Nevada. After living my whole life in Las Vegas, I decided to make a change and move to San Diego and I have not looked back since. I will be graduating with my associate's degree in Journalism at the end of spring 2015 and hope to finish my bachelor's degree at San Diego State. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my dog Marley, reading, watching movies, trying out new restaurants and exploring San Diego. I am a HUGE Disney fan. I have an annual pass to Disneyland so I am there at least once a month. I believe in always remaining young at heart, appreciating the small things, and most importantly showing kindness to others.
